VEIL COLLECTIONS

Below you will find just a small selection of the many veil styles we have in store to try on at your appointment.

About Our Wedding Veil Collections

Even from the small selection of wedding veils showcased here, you can start to see the variety we have available for you at Taylors bridal. In reality, your options are endless as we also handmake custom bridal veils to order for our lovely brides!

If you'd like to see our full veil collection and get an idea of pricing, head over to our sister site, The Wedding Veil Shop, dedicated to all-things wedding veils. You can even order online there if you'd prefer to.

For our fabulous boutique brides, let's go over some of the many options you have for your veil when you order from us.

The Bespoke Veil Journey

Even though we have set veil designs that you can order as-is, ALL of our veils are handmade to order. Due to this, you can mix and match elements from different veils you'll try on at your appointment or make your own veil from complete scratch.

Veil Lengths

Our most popular lengths are chapel and cathedral but we do offer shoulder, elbow, waist, hip, fingertip, waltz and floor lengths, too. This isn't to say that you cant have your veil a different length to these. We've recently made a show-stopping 6.5m long veil for a bride who really wanted to wow her guests on arrival.

Veil Widths

On to widths! We have three standard sizes, Slim, Medium and Full. Again there is nothing stopping you from going smaller or wider! You can even choose how much material you will have gathered at your comb if you have a detailed dress back you don't want to be covered up.

Veil Fabric

Our most popular veiling tulles are Bridal Illusion, Italian Style, Silk Effect and Shimmer. For more adventurous brides, we are able to provide more out-there tulles such as Glitter or Dotty to name a couple.

Veil Colours

The standard colours that we offer are White, Diamond White (which is an off white), Pale Ivory, Light Ivory, Ivory, Dark Ivory, Champagne, Blush Pink and Oyster Pink.  Again don't be afraid to ask for something different, we are currently making a non-traditional Sage Green veil!

Edge Finishes

These include cut edge, pencil (stitched), scalloped, wired, ribbon in 3 or 7mm. 15mm satin & organza ribbon, 40mm organza ribbon, pearl edge and rhinestone edge. We also have a large variety of diamantes, crystals and pearls that you can decorate your veil with, or why not have a gorgeous lace-edged veil?

The Boutique

In the Boutique, we have over 100 of our veils that you can try on at your appointment. We hold the largest amount of veils on-site in the UK. When you arrive for your appointment, our Bridal Consultant Sam will meet you and discuss your thoughts about your veil, you will then try on a range of veils to ensure yours is perfect for you! Your appointment will not only be professional but also personal.

We have brides-to-be coming to visit us from all corners of the U.K. and we are proud to be able to offer an exceptional service, alongside exceptional handmade veils, to each and every bride that comes through our door. We want your wedding to be as perfect as you do.

Top 10 tips for choosing your wedding veil

  1. Buy the veil and accessories that YOU want, not what anyone else wants, it’s YOUR wedding!

  2. Ensure you think about the different possibilities, it’s amazing how many brides think they know what they want until they try it on!

  3. Don’t leave ordering your veil and accessories until the last minute! The longer you leave it, the fewer possibilities you will have in terms of bespoke options.

  4. Do not order your veil without checking sample colours first. You may think you have a white dress when it is actually ivory - this is a very common error.

  5. Don’t dismiss a veil shape or length until you have tried it. You never know, you may like it better.

  6. Think about whether or not you'd like to wear your veil over your face for the ceremony. This will determine if you need a one or two-tier veil.

  7. Don't be afraid to ask if you want something specific. we can do anything you desire!

  8. When trying veils on, try to have your hair similar to how you will wear it on your Big Day, but don't worry too much about it being perfect.

  9. Bring someone with you to your appointment if possible. It's good to have a second opinion.

  10. Bring your DRESS with you if you can! That way you will be able to see everything come together.
